Senior Investment Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Investment Analyst eager to contribute their expertise to our dynamic team.

The Senior Investment Analyst will play a pivotal role in assisting with portfolio construction and risk pricing. They will also be instrumental in developing the company's portfolio optimization, ALM, and balance sheet risk models. Additionally, they will be supporting the investment team in collateral management, new asset sourcing, and MI production. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.

Skills and experience required:

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in investment roles, with exposure to fixed income, derivatives, and alternative assets.
• A minimum of 1 CFA exam passed or successful completion of a minimum of seven actuarial exams.
• Strong technical and quantitative skills in portfolio optimisation, ALM, and risk modelling.
• A strong working knowledge of derivatives used for hedging risks and exceptional Excel and VBA skills.
• An understanding of global markets and the ability to communicate market views effectively.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with investment data terminals like Bloomberg, and knowledge of Power BI and Power Queries is desirable.
• Experience with annuity pricing and knowledge of insurance reporting and regulatory frameworks.
