Legal & General Reinsurance Hosts 'Lunch and Learn' for BILTIR Summer Interns

Each year, Legal & General Reinsurance takes part in nurturing Bermuda’s emerging talent through the Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers (BILTIR) Summer Internship Program.

As part of that program, we host a 'Lunch and Learn' session for the summer interns. This year, we focused on the important topic of ESG investing. 

As part of BILTIR’s comprehensive intern program, these sessions introduce a variety of essential topics to enhance our interns’ learning experiences and professional growth. 

The program equips and prepares our interns for their careers in the life and annuity industry, and we are always happy to host these sessions.

Our Head of Investments Solutions, Manal Leach, delivered an insightful presentation on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing, covering key UN sustainability initiatives and how we integrate ESG principles into our business strategies to achieve our net zero targets.

This session provided a fantastic opportunity for our interns to learn and explore the importance of sustainable and responsible investing.
